| 考生成绩的分数从1-9共分为九个能力等级。成绩报告单上有听、说、读、写各个模块的分项计分，也有综合计分。综合分数、听力以及阅读部分的分数可以是整级和半级；写作和口语部分的分数只按整级计算。 |
Candidates receive
scores on a Band Scale from 1 to 9. A score is reported for each module of
the test as well as an overall score. Overall Band scores and Listening
and Reading scores are reported in whole and half Bands; Writing and
Speaking Band Scores are reported in whole Bands only. |

9 EXPERT USER
Has fully operational command of the language; appropriate, accurate
and fluent with complete understanding. |
8 非常好
完全可以运用英语，只是偶尔出现非原则性的不准确和不得体；在涉及不熟悉的情景时出现理解失误；可以进行复杂和详尽的论述。 |
8 VERY GOOD USER
Has fully operational command of the language with only occasional
unsystematic inaccuracies and inappropriacies. Misunderstandings may occur in unfamiliar
situations. Handles complex detailed argumentation well. |
7 好
可以运用英语，偶尔出现不准确和不得体；涉及某些情景时出现理解失误；在一般情况下可以使用复杂的语言和理解详尽的推理。 |
7 GOOD USER
Has operational command of the language, though with occasional
inaccuracies, inappropriacies and misunderstandings in some situations. Generally handles
complex language well and understands detailed reasoning. |
6 可以
一般情况下能够有效运用英语，但存在一些不准确、不得体和理解失误的现象；在涉及熟悉的情景时，可以使用和理解比较复杂的语言。 |
6 COMPETENT USER
Has generally effective command of the language despite some
inaccuracies, inappropriacies and misunderstandings. Can use and understand fairly complex
language, particularly in familiar situations. |
5 一般
在一定程度上能够运用英语，在大多数情景下可以表达基本意思，但错误很多；能够在个人所从事的领域进行最基本的交流。 |
5 MODEST USER
Has partial command of the language, coping with overall meaning in
most situations, though is likely to make many mistakes. Should be able to handle basic
communication in own field. |
4 有限
有基本的英语表达能力，但仅限于熟悉的情景；在理解和表达方面频繁失误。不能使用复杂的语言。 |
4 LIMITED USER
Basic competence is limited to familiar situations. Has frequent
problems in understanding and expression. Is not able to use complex language. |
3 特别有限
在非常熟悉的情景下，能用英语表达和理解一般性的意思；交谈过程频繁出现中断。 |
3 EXTREMELY LIMITED USER
Conveys and understands only general meaning in very familiar
situations. Frequent breakdowns in communication occur. |
2 困难
除了使用个别词句以及日常情景中的客套话表达最基本的信息和满足最直接的需要外，无法用英语进行真正意义上的交流。 |
2 INTERMITTENT USER
No real communication is possible except for the most basic information
using isolated words or short formulae in familiar situations and to meet immediate needs.
Has great difficulty understanding spoken and written English. |
